I have been itching to get into film photography, specifically square format film, ever since I saw my friend Danielle's Holga prints (check out her blog Caught Light to see some examples). The Holga is a cheap, plastic camera, but in the right hands can be a tool to create lovely photos. It produces grainy and imperfect images that I often find more interesting than digital shots. My favorite thing about shooting a Holga is that you can create double exposure images. Here are a few shots from my first attempt at taking pictures with a Holga camera. These were all taken at the Capital Square shortly after the 4th of July.
